Volleyball Recap: Cass Colonels vs. Model Blue Devils
Cass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Model Blue Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Colonels of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2021.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-18.
Cass' defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Model, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-13 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cass will host Darlington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Model, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Fannin County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
