Volleyball Recap: Wilkes-Barre Triumphs

The Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack had just enough and edged out the Crestwood Comets 3-2 on Tuesday.

Wilkes-Barre was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (111-106), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 19-25, 25-22, 19-25, 18-16.

Jordany Rodriguez went supernova, getting 36 digs, 15 kills, and one block. The team also got some help courtesy of Tijan Nijai, who had 41 assists and six digs.

Wilkes-Barre now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Crestwood, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Wilkes-Barre will square off against Hanover Area at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Crestwood, they will take on Abington Heights at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
