Volleyball Recap: Fossil Ridge Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Fossil Ridge entered their tilt with Chaparral on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Wolverines 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the SaberCats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Fossil Ridge never let Chaparral on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 28-26, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Trinity Burchett, who had 11 digs and six assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Despite the loss, Chaparral still got an impressive performance from Jenna Baller, who had 18 digs and four assists.

Fossil Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Chaparral, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

Fossil Ridge and Chaparral will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The SaberCats are set to challenge their familiar foe Rocky Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chaparral will square off against rival Ponderosa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
