Softball Recap: Big Sky Eagles vs. Billings Senior Broncs

Big Sky had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They skirted past the Billings Senior Broncs 4-2. That's more bragging rights for Big Sky, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Briella Wilson tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits.

At the plate, Brooke Schaffer was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double. Another player making a difference was Sadie Mcguinn, who went 1-for-3 with a home run.

On Billings Senior's side, Kendal Sides was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-2 with a triple and an RBI. Madi Ban was another key contributor, going 3-for-4 with two doubles.

The teams wasted no time getting back out on the field as they've already faced off again: they played to a 2-2 tie later that day.
