Volleyball Recap: Sierra Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sierra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mitchell Marauders. The Stallions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Marauders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 22-25, 25-10, 25-23.

Sierra's offense was headlined by Autumn McNaughton and Havalah Gonzalez, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Hailee Roddy and her two assists. Genevieve Becerra controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Sierra's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Mitchell, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Sierra wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Elizabeth on the 30th. As for Mitchell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against The Classical Academy on the 30th.
