Basketball Recap: Pearl River Central Comes Up Short

Pearl River Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 39-27 to the Hattiesburg Tigers. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-29 last Tuesday.

Pearl River Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Hattiesburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 16-10 record this season.

Pearl River Central has already played their next contest (against St. Mary's Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hattiesburg has already played their next matchup, a 50-47 loss against West Jones on the 4th.
