Trinity Christian Academy waltzed into their matchup on Friday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Excel Christian Academy Eagles 97-66. With the Warriors ahead 49-26 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Trinity Christian Academy was led to victory by Luke Nutt and Luke Rolen. Nutt went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points in addition to eight assists and five boards, while Rolen went 10 of 15 on his way to 22 points along with eight assists and six rebounds. Rolen is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Landon Dyck, who posted 19 points and five rebounds.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Trinity Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 32 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Excel Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Kaiden Ward and Tristen Hoskins. Ward had 21 points, while Hoskins put up 17 points. Ashton Mcknight was another key player, putting up eight points.

Trinity Christian Academy's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 89.3 points over those games. As for Excel Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10.

Coming up, Trinity Christian Academy will face off against Harvest Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harvest Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Trinity Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
