Soccer Recap: Southwest's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Southwest can now relate to. They came up short against the Springtown Porcupines on Friday, falling 4-1. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Southwest couldn't quite close it out.

With the defeat, Southwest broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-10. As for Springtown, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6-5 record this season.
