Soccer Recap: Batesville Comes Up Short

Batesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Shelbyville Golden Bears. One reason for the loss might be Batesville's aggressive play style: Thomas Deal and Anthony Hoegeman were both handed yellow cards.

Batesville's goal came courtesy of Simon Berkemeier, who's now up to four this season.
