 If Las Lomas was riding high  off their  17-3 takedown of Hayward last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Las Lomas Knights lost  9-1 to the Alhambra Bulldogs on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Las Lomas of the  6-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in March.
  Brady Wright made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 On Alhambra's side,  Jakob Poole tossed a big game,   pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. Poole has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side, Alhambra let  John Davidson and  Jaden Martinez loose on the outfield. Davidson  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3, while  Martinez  went 3-for-4 with a  stolen base and two  RBI.  Jaden Lack was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Las Lomas now  has a losing record at 11-12. As for Alhambra, their win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 13-10.
 While Las Lomas had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
