Goessel extended their postseason success on Saturday against Flinthills. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0. The win was nothing new for the Bluebirds as they're now sitting on six straight.

While Goessel won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Flinthills still got an impressive performance from Joliene Dragoo, who had eight digs.

Goessel's victory bumped their record up to 30-10. As for Flinthills, they moved to 26-12 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Coming up, Goessel is taking a road trip to face off against Centralia at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Flinthills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
