Softball Game Preview: Ball Tornadoes vs. Friendswood Mustangs

Ball is 0-10 against Friendswood since April of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Tornadoes will welcome the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. Ball has given up an average of 7.6 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ball is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against La Porte on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 18-1. Meanwhile, Friendswood fell victim to Angleton and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. It was the first time this season that the Mustangs let down their fans at home.

Ball's defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Friendswood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-4.
