League recap: Keystone Heights rolls against Interlachen

4A District 4 recap October 29, 2013

Keystone Heights took down Interlachen 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Anton Noble ran for 173 yards during the win.

The Indians led 4A District 4 in scoring this week by notching 49 points on the Rams. Noble ran for 173 yards in the win.

Caleb Robinson provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Umatilla lost to Bradford. He completed 7 passes for 69 yards and also ran for 193 yards. Robinson's key target this week was Ethan Madden, who caught 7 passes for 73 yards.

Jabari Jiles was a beast in the backfield as The Villages Charter topped Wildwood.

Jiles was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 231 yards on 30 carries as the Buffalo lost to the Tornadoes. Teammate Kole Harris added to the ground attack by rushing for 75 yards.

Umatilla's Justin Lewis and Madden led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Lewis has thrown for 575 yards this season, while Madden has 28 catches for 315 yards. Noble from Keystone Heights leads the league in rushing with 1,005 yards.

An important game coming up in 4A District 4 this week will be when Charles Dickinson's team takes on Bradford. The Indians are in second place, while Steve Reynolds' team is in third place.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Keystone Heights takes on the Tornadoes. The Indians have allowed 105 points this season, while Bradford has given up 180. Keystone Heights allowed 0 points last week as it beat Interlachen.

The Villages Charter made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,816 from 10,322. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 43-35 victory over the Wildcats last week.
