Football Recap: Carroll Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 55-6 loss at the hands of the Badin Rams. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-0.

James Jaynes threw for 53 yards and one TD. Ashtyn Delong was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards and one score.

Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Badin, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carroll will square off against Chaminade Julienne Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.13 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Badin, they will take on Archbishop Alter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights' defense has only allowed 10.5 points per game this season, so the Rams' offense will have their work cut out for them.
