Basketball Recap: Saddle River Day Takes a Loss

After flying high against Park Ridge last Saturday, Saddle River Day came back down to earth. The Saddle River Day Rebels might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Bergen Catholic Crusaders an easy 84-59 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rebels have suffered since January 23rd.

Saddle River Day's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bergen Catholic, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Saddle River Day and Kennedy will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bergen Catholic, they will square off against Sagemont at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Sagemont knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Bergen Catholic likes a good challenge.
