Baseball Recap: Jacksonville Takes a Loss

Jacksonville came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-1 to the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 7-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2016.

Jacksonville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for North Little Rock, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Jacksonville will head out to square off against Carlisle at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Little Rock, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cabot at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cabot's pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so North Little Rock's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
