Basketball Recap: Bolton Comes Up Short

Bolton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 65-46 bruising from the Windsor Locks Raiders. The Bulldogs were down 53-24 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Jack Grasso continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Windsor Locks, going 6 of 11 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points along with five rebounds and three steals. With that strong performance, Grasso is now averaging an impressive 15.8 points per game. J'Vion LaBoy was another key player, going 7 for 8 on his way to 14 points.

Bolton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Windsor Locks, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bolton will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rockville at 6:45 p.m. on January 31st. As for Windsor Locks, they will challenge Suffield at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Windsor Locks is facing Suffield at the right time seeing as Suffield is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
