Lincoln won the last time they faced Westerville Central and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lions sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Warhawks.

Lincoln had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 17-25, 25-20, 25-16, 15-11.

Kate Oswalt paced Lincoln's offense, picking up 15 kills. Oswalt got some help from Aeva Bacome and her 32 assists. Finally, Kaylee Jackson kept Lincoln's defense grounded, leading the team with seven blocks.

Lincoln's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-10. As for Westerville Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Looking ahead, Lincoln will be playing at home against Grove City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions are facing the Greyhounds at the right time seeing as the Greyhounds are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Westerville Central, they will head out to square off against Westerville South at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
