If St. Benedict's Prep wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Seton Hall Prep, they should've done a better job of containing Dylan Guzzardo. The Seton Hall Prep Pirates managed a 70-66 win over the St. Benedict's Prep Gray Bees on Saturday thanks to Guzzardo, who posted 22 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Ante, who had 12 points along with eight boards and three steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Seton Hall Prep is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for St. Benedict's Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Seton Hall Prep will have a chance to go back-to-back against St. Benedict's Prep: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
