Soccer Game Preview: Montgomery Central vs. Sycamore

Montgomery Central is 1-8-1 against Sycamore since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Montgomery Central Indians will challenge the Sycamore War Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

While Montgomery Central's victory against Clarksville Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Montgomery Central narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Clarksville Academy 5-4. It was an even better day for Andrew Wall as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Sycamore put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their undefeated season alive. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against Harpeth.

The victory made it two in a row for Montgomery Central and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those two matchups. As for Sycamore, their win bumped their record up to 3-0-1.
