After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bishop Heelan Catholic, Lincoln was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Des Moines East Scarlets 35-6 at home. The Lynx pushed the score to 28-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Scarlets had little chance of recovering from.

Entienne Higgins went supernova for Lincoln, rushing for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, while also throwing for 86 yards and a touchdown while completing 78.6% of his passes. Cael Hansen was Higgins' top target, rushing for 62 yards and two touchdowns.
