Baseball Recap: Buffalo Comes Up Short

Buffalo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 6-0 to the Chapmanville Regional Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bison have suffered since April 20, 2024.

Buffalo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trevor Rutan, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Buffalo's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Buffalo is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Charleston Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chapmanville Regional, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Chapmanville Regional Tigers face off against Lincoln County Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
