Wren is 8-2 against Palmetto since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Hurricanes will look to defend their home pitch against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Wren is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Southside just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 5-1 to the Tigers. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Wren couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Palmetto came up short against Christ Church Episcopal on Thursday, falling 7-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Palmetto were already down 4-0.

Palmetto's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Wren, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-4-1.

Wren couldn't quite get it done against Palmetto in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Hurricanes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
