With a playoff win on the line, Tri rose to the challenge on Thursday. They came out on top against the South Decatur Cougars by a score of 10-5. The match marked the Titans' most dominant victory of the season.
Karter Lunsford made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). Lunsford was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024.
