Softball Preview: Leipsic Vikings vs. Carey Blue Devils
The Leipsic Vikings will face off against the Carey Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Carey took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Leipsic, who comes in off a win.
On Wednesday, Leipsic was able to grind out a solid win over Vanlue, taking the game 9-4. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Aubrey Kleman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Kleman was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.
