Volleyball Recap: Ainsworth Takes a Loss

Ainsworth extended their losing streak to five on Tuesday, dropping them down to 2-10. They lost 3-0 to the West Holt Huskies. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Huskies from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Gracyn Painter paced Ainsworth's offense, picking up six kills. Painter got some help from Willa Flynn and her six assists.

As for West Holt, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 17, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Pavan Larson went supernova, getting 30 assists and six digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six contests. Kenzie Ruda was another key player, getting 12 digs.

Ainsworth has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Gordon-Rushville on the 18th. As for West Holt, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Ord on the 18th.
