Preview: Tri-Cities vs. Mays
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Mays. They hope to keep the momentum going despite having enjoyed some extra time before their next game against Tri-Cities at 7:30 PM on Friday. Mays don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Everything went Mays' way against New Manchester two weeks ago as they made off with a 28-0 win. The success made it back-to-back wins for Mays.
Meanwhile, Tri-Cities have to be hurting after a devastating 0-21 loss at the hands of Creekside last Friday.
Mays took their match against Tri-Cities the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 34-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mays since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
