Football Recap: ALA - Mesa North Falls Despite Big Games from Crew Germaine and Seth Allen

ALA - Mesa North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took an 18-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Apache Junction Prospectors. Having soared to a lofty 40 points in the game before, the Mavericks couldn't push the score so high this time.

ALA - Mesa North's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Seth Allen, who picked up 96 receiving yards and one score, and Crew Germaine, who threw for 162 yards and one touchdown.

ALA - Mesa North's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Apache Junction, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

ALA - Mesa North didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 39-7 loss against Blue Ridge on the 24th. As for Apache Junction, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 49-6 defeat against Round Valley on the 24th.
