Volleyball Game Preview: Pflugerville Connally Cougars vs. St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans

The Pflugerville Connally Cougars will take on the St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans in a tournament on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Pflugerville Connally and five for St. Stephen's Episcopal.

Pflugerville Connally saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lake Belton.

Meanwhile, St. Stephen's Episcopal also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Bowie by a score of 2-0.

St. Stephen's Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Pflugerville Connally, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Pflugerville Connally came up short against St. Stephen's Episcopal when the teams last played back in August of 2015, falling 2-0. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
