Basketball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the South Haven Cardinals, falling 53-25. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 274th, while the Cardinals are ranked 88th).

Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-12-1. As for South Haven, they pushed their record up to 16-1-2 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Central will take on Argonia on Tuesday. As for South Haven, they will head out to square off against Udall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
