Softball Recap: Linton-Stockton Comes Up Short

If Linton-Stockton was feeling good fresh off their 11-0 takedown of White River Valley on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Miners fell just short of the North Daviess Cougars by a score of 7-6 on Friday. The Miners were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Linton-Stockton's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for North Daviess, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4.

Looking ahead, Linton-Stockton will take on Bloomington South at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Daviess, they will head out to challenge North Knox at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
