Soccer Game Preview: Spaulding vs. Colchester

The Spaulding Crimson Tide will square off against the Colchester Lakers at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Spaulding sitting on six straight victories and Colchester on four.

Spaulding is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand South Burlington a 3-0 shutout. Spaulding's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five contests.

Meanwhile, Colchester faced Mt. Mansfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Lakers blew past the Cougars 4-0.
