Basketball Recap: Floydada Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Floydada lost against New Deal back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Floydada Whirlwinds took a 44-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Deal Lions. The Whirlwinds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Floydada's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-14. As for New Deal, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-11.

Floydada has already played their next match, a 78-32 loss against Abernathy on the 4th. As for New Deal, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 38-23 defeat against New Home on the 4th.
