Baseball Recap: Bunkie Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Bunkie's offense. They fell 3-0 to Buckeye on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for Bunkie in their meetings with Buckeye: they've now lost four in a row.

Bunkie now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Buckeye, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bunkie will face off against St. Joseph's - Plaucheville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Buckeye, they will challenge Avoyelles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
