Basketball Recap: Hersey Extends Road Winning Streak to 11

Hersey won the last time they faced Buffalo Grove and things went their way on Tuesday too. Everything went the Hersey Huskies' way against the Buffalo Grove Bison as the Hersey Huskies made off with a 52-28 victory. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Bison are ranked 348th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hersey's win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Buffalo Grove, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.
