Volleyball Recap: Medomak Valley Wins Going Away Against Nokomis

Medomak Valley's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Nokomis Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win.

Medomak Valley walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Nokomis still got an impressive performance from Kelsey Irish, who had eight digs.

The win got Medomak Valley back to even at 1-1. As for Nokomis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Medomak Valley will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Gardiner at 5:30 p.m. on October 14. As for Nokomis, they will take on Hampden at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
