Basketball Recap: Alsea Triumphs

Alsea won the last time they faced Mohawk and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Alsea Wolverines came out on top against the Mohawk Mustangs by a score of 61-52. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.

Alsea's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Mohawk, they dropped their record down to 6-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Alsea will face off against Eddyville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eddyville will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Alsea surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mohawk, they will be playing at home against Siletz Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Siletz Valley has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 177 points over their last three games.
