Baseball Recap: Serrano Gets the Win

Serrano won the last time they faced Palmdale and things went their way on Friday too. The Serrano Diamondbacks came out on top against the Palmdale Falcons by a score of 5-2.

Serrano's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Van Duyne, who scored a run while going 1-for-4. Another was Jeremy Thurber, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Serrano's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Palmdale, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Serrano has already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Knight on the 25th. As for Palmdale, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Silverado on the 25th.
