Basketball Game Preview: Dow Chargers vs. Mt. Pleasant Oilers

Dow hasn't had much luck against Mt. Pleasant recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Dow Chargers will take on the Mt. Pleasant Oilers in a tournament on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Dow came up short against Davison and fell 66-59. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Mt. Pleasant also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Grand Blanc by a score of 51-42. The Oilers have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Mt. Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Dow, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

Dow didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Mt. Pleasant in their previous matchup on February 7th, but they still walked away with a 43-38 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dow since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
