It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Perrysburg had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Brunswick Blue Devils. The victory was familiar territory for the Yellow Jackets, who have now won six matchups in a row.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-10, 25-10.

Perrysburg was led to victory by Ali Cherry and Abigail Bartolo. Cherry had 18 digs and three assists, while Bartolo had seven digs. That's the most digs Cherry has posted since back in September.

Perrysburg's win bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Brunswick, their loss dropped their record down to 9-15.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Perrysburg and Mentor will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Brunswick does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
