Softball Recap: Christopher Takes a Loss

Christopher and Milpitas squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Christopher had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 8-7. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by just one run.

Christopher got a big performance out of Olivia Wilson, who went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases and three runs. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Farrow, who went 3-for-5 with two RBI and one run.

Christopher's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Milpitas, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Christopher nor Milpitas have any future games scheduled.
