Soccer Recap: South Glens Falls Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hudson Falls on Tuesday, South Glens Falls came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Glens Falls Black Bears by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but South Glens Falls couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Logan Powhida, who's now up to five this season.

South Glens Falls' loss dropped their record down to 6-8-2. As for Glens Falls, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6-1 record this season.

As of now, neither South Glens Falls nor Glens Falls have any future games scheduled.
