Softball Game Preview: Lodi Blue Devils vs. Poynette Pumas

Lodi hasn't had much luck against Poynette recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will look to defend their home field against the Pumas at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Lodi 3.1, Poynette 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Lodi is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Stoughton on Friday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Poynette's offense. They lost 12-0 to Waupun on Monday.

Lodi's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Poynette, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.
