If Centreville wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Chantilly, they should've done a better job of containing  Hannah Pourhashemi. The Chargers came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of  3-1  on Thursday for which the team can thank  Pourhashemi, who  had 31  digs and three  assists. She has been hot recently, having  posted ten or more  digs the last four times she's  played.
 Chantilly had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-22, 25-19,  25-17.

 Leading Chantilly to victory were  Gabriella Roper and  Nathalia Sagastume.  Roper  had 11  digs and three  aces, while  Sagastume  had six  digs and two  assists. Those  six  digs gave  Sagastume a new career-high.  Evelyn Son also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assist of the season.
Chantilly is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record  this season. As for Centreville, they dropped their record down to 10-10 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Coming up, Chantilly will host Oakton  at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Centreville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
