Football Recap: Brownsville Takes a Loss

Brownsville lost against Albert Gallatin back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons took a blow against the Colonials, falling 62-21. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 550th, while the Colonials are ranked 228th).

Adam Pegg continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Albert Gallatin, rushing for 227 yards and three scores while picking up 14.2 yards per carry, and also picking up 57 receiving yards and one TD. Pegg was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards. Roman Smith helped out on the ground, rushing for 80 yards and three rushing touchdowns.

Brownsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Albert Gallatin, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brownsville will welcome Toronto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Albert Gallatin, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Weir at 7:00 p.m.
