Pender put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Pierce Bluejays by a score of 42-32. This was payback for the Pendragons, who suffered a 59-25 loss the last time these two teams met.

Pender got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alex Roth out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Trevor Trimble, who posted 11 points.

Pender's record is now 8-0. As for Pierce, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

When Pender and Pierce next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Pender will try to stop Wayne's six-game winning streak when the meet at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Pierce will try to stop Lutheran-Northeast's four-game winning streak when the meet on Friday.
