They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-52 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lapwai Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bears have suffered since January 3, 2024.

Moscow's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Lapwai, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-7 record.
