Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kenya De Luna and Syteria Love Lead Mansueto to Victory

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Perspectives Leadership/Technology, Mansueto was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They managed a 31-26 victory over the Chicago Military Academy Eagles. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Leopards' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

A big part of Mansueto's win came down to the chemistry between Kenya De Luna and her top target Syteria Love. De Luna threw for 260 yards and four TDs on only ten passes while Love picked up 239 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Those four passing touchdowns gave De Luna a new career-high.

The victory got Mansueto back to even at 5-5. As for Chicago Military Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Mansueto has already played their next contest, a 14-13 loss against Comer on the 23rd. Chicago Military Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
