Volleyball Game Preview: Tooele Buffaloes vs. Park City Miners

Tooele hasn't had much luck against Park City recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Tooele Buffaloes will head out to challenge the Park City Miners at 6:30 p.m. The match will give Tooele their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.

Tooele is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Grantsville, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Park City had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of Woods Cross by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

Park City took Woods Cross into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-14, 25-21, 17-25, 15-8.

Tooele's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Park City, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Tooele might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Park City in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Tooele avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
