Preview: Delano Tigers vs. Kennedy Thunderbirds
The Delano Tigers will play host again and welcome the Kennedy Thunderbirds, where tip off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Delano will be strutting in after a win while Kennedy will be coming in after a loss.
Delano posted their biggest win since December 21, 2023 on Friday. They blew past Wonderful College Prep Academy, posting a 64-24 victory at home.
Delano got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mark Ragasa out in front who scored 11 points along with three steals. Jotham Amodo was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Kennedy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their sixth straight loss. They took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Taft.
Delano's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Kennedy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.
Delano won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup on January 4th, slipping by Kennedy 57-56. Does Delano have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kennedy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
